Soil nails and shotcrete wall – Fribourg, Switzerland
The project was in Fribourg, Switzerland, where my company was the subcontractor for a special foundations package. At this job site, I collaborated with the main contractor to ensure project quality and safety, as well as adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards, particularly in soil nail tests and shotcrete wall displacement monitoring.

- Supervised pull-out tests to verify soil nail performance.
- Monitored inclinometer readings to track shotcrete wall displacement and ensure structural stability.

Results
- Pull-out tests met SIA 267/1:2003, confirming the reliability of the soil nails.
- The structure remains stable within allowable displacement limits.
- We have successfully executed 40 soil nails and shotcrete wall on time, with continuous ensuring ongoing compliance and stability.
